TakeOne again thank you for your great video! Today I finally fixed the trunk connection to the lamp. Cutting lamp was the scary thing but with proper tools it was quite easy. Again thanks for helpful video!

I'm a bit disappointed, but not all that surprised. My outer passenger light assembly has stopped working after working flawlessly for a little over a year. Anyone else have this issue?

I pulled out the assembly and checked the connection. It was still secure. I then swapped it with my OEM LCI light assembly and it worked right away. So, I reinstalled my OEM lights for now. I reached out to the distributer and Vland but haven't heard back from either yet.

there is one year warranty for these lamps, am I correct? they should take care of it

Not sure on how long the warranty period is. I couldn't find that information on the Vland USA website. I also haven't heard back from them either.

If you bought from M Power Motorsports, please contact us directly. That's why we're here and we'll take care of you. Anyone who ordered directly through VLAND will have problems with warranty. That's the disadvantage of ordering through AliExpress etc. I don't check my PM's too often so the best way to get in contact is by calling or texting the business line. (586) 207-7826. I have the same problem on my 2015. where is the cable which was unplugged? Have I to remove the inner or outer light?

I did the installation with TakeOne video tutorial and everything works. `You need to cut of little piece from lamp to be able to fit in the cable coming from the outer lamp up the way to the trunk lamp. Just follow the video and you will be good. My mechanical skills are at 1/10 but I did manage to get everything done with the vid.

my pro tip is only to put insulating tape on the remaining wiring that is not used. In my case I sued 2016+ wiring so I secured 2014 wiring to avoid any water getting into the cables.

My outer light is also stopped working from yesterday after close to a year of no flaw operation. Going to check it tonight and see if the light itself is shot which is most likely the case seeing as there is no extra connection for the outer part. Just going to buy some OEM shadowlines and be done with these oleds lol. They were damn nice to look at though.

Reviving this thread as I recently installed a set of these on my F80. I only get the startup sequence when my light switch is set to auto. If not, I only get the turn signal blink when I lock/unlock the car.

Is this working as designed? Do you guys have the startup sequence regardless of what your headlight switch is set to?
