Professionally painting my m666 alloys - ruin resale value?
I have a sakhir orange m4 competition convertible which I love. I've owned it for three years on finance and plan on owning it a few years more as a privately owned car. For the money I can't think of any better car.
I'm considering having my alloys painted / power coated bronze as part of their refurbished like the below. Might this impact resale however since this isn't a "stock" colour? Last edited by Psilonaught; 08-07-2022 at 10:48 AM.. |

If you're not selling the wheels separately and just including them on the car when you sell in a few years, I don't think it will affect resale value. But then, it will be a 6 year old car and I don't think most buyers are looking for perfection or 100% original finish wheels.

Ok thanks, I think I will do it.
I also want to do a full carbon upgrade all around. If you consider now much crappy 911 997s go for, and the stupid prices for even a 2013 991, the m4 competition is remarkable value. |
