1/4 mile toyo r888r results

Took car today to track with r888r with better results. Ran tires at 25psi, 4 passes with best time at 11.582. All 4 pases with LC. Last time best I could do was 11.96 with same toyo tires except ran tires at 28psi.

What do you guys think? Running Alex@Alpine stage 2 tune. No downpipes or any other mods.

An 11.6 with a fully stock car is pretty impressive. Good work!

That's a solid run. Launch control?

I would expect those numbers from a stock M3/4 on sticky tires. The ET is expected due to improved launched traction. The trap speed is also in line with a stock DCT. It does not seem like your tune is giving you much.

All the stock m3/m4 in my area seem to be running 12.1 - 2 at best. I ran 12.2 stock on street tires.

Yes, that's my point. Improving launch traction makes a huge difference in elapsed time. Power can be seen in trap speed. 118mph is consistent with stock power levels for a DCT M3/4.

It depends on your tune and the shape of the power curve. With the stock tune, you need to redline 1st and 2nd and shift around 7k for optimum acceleration.

Is that 1.5 or a 1.6 ?? Wow that's really good track prep! You're car is hooking up extremely well. Nothing really left in the launch just better shift points.

What track is this do you know the DA ?

I assume 93octane fuel? So Stage 2 tune, catless downpipes and triplerrr tires? Great times! Have you tried installing drop in filters and removing charcoal mod?

In your stock air boxes there are charcoal filters. People remove them when installing drop in filters like k&n or bmc. Frees up some hp and a little more Turbo sounds...
