Installed the OEM tail lights, shipped directly from Latvia! Love the look, it complements alpine white very well on my post-LCI 2017 M3.

While doing the swap, I also upgraded to LED reverse bulbs for brighter visibility while reversing in low light areas.

Has anyone ordered the Shadowline LCI taillights from Schmiedmann during the pre-Holiday sale?

I order the taillights and compatible OEM wiring harness for my pre-LCI 2016 M4 F83 on Nov 30 2019, taking advantage of Schiedmann's site-wide sale. The website order status keeps showing the items in stock, then out-of-stock a few days later, and then in stock again. The items have yet to ship as of Jan 6 2020. Response has been that they were overloaded before the holidays, and then were shutdown during the holidays.

Anyone in the same boat? Can you post your experiences? Schmiedmann had good pricing during the sale, but the delivery wait continues to be excruciating. Order is shipping to California (I assume the origin is Denmark).

Sent another message last night, a few hours after my post above. They did respond overnight.... and I did see a shipment order email this morning. So, keeping my fingers crossed that the shipment got out.

Looks like they are moving again. For reference, I ordered the M4 F83 Euro shadowline tailights and oem wiring harness (plus some other items to take advantage of the sale). This is for a 2016 F83 pre-LCI. Did not order drip rails, since I am not clear if they are needed. May have to order drip rails in the future after I assess my situation:

P/N 63217463139 - Trim, drip rail, left
P/N 63217463140 - Trim, drip rail, right

Received the shipment last week. The shadowline taillights look fantastic, especially up against Black Sapphire Metallic. Can confirm that the LCI drip rails are needed... part numbers above. Ordered from ECS Tuning to speed up the delivery. Hopefully will be installing this weekend with the OEM LCI harness and coding. Much thanks to all the contributors on the forum.

Anyone have a link to the proper VO coding for the LCI taillights? I remember seeing some info ages ago, but I'm having a hard time searching it out. I will be using E-sys.

Thanks for the answer but...

I've managed to get hold of Uwe the owner, and have bought the F82 shadowline rear kit he sells. It wasn't cheap (900 euro) but includes shipping, drip rails and the wiring harness for my pre-LCI F82. I'll post some pictures when it's installed.

Received my lights today. Took about 3 weeks to get them in hand. Which is about what I expected. Install was fairly easy. Biggest pain was getting the stock wiring harness clips apart on some components.

Overall, easy swap and really changed the rear end look, especially on YMB. Always hated those bright red tails.

I don’t know of anyone who’s retrofitted these in the UK yet so I might end up being the first at this rate. Either way - mine are on route

There are a few of us on cutters that have retro fitted the shaddowline lights.

I did mine in June last year.
