Gave up and chopped it for a f80cp. No issues regarding vibration at speed with this one now.
Given that I replaced the diff the only 2 other rotating parts are the driveshaft and prop. I wasn't about to spend hundreds more chasing this problem. Any testing was done with the wheels off as to totally eliminate that part. The only thing to note through all this was both the rear discs did wobble slightly and was pretty much the only rotating part that wasn't running true. I don't recall but I think I even removed those and span it up with the same result. Cut my losses and stopped chasing which is a shame but it was costing too much and sourcing parts want easy, there must be 8 or 9 different part numbers for the prop alone and the part number I had on mine didn't have any come up for sale that weren't nearly 1k. Still got a perfectly good diff in my garage, sadly won't fit my cp as the design was changed around May 17 I believe |
