TPMS New Wheels
Just a quick question.
Purchasing additional set of wheels for an F80. If I choose to go without TPMS sensors, will there be any disadvantages (other than not monitoring TP via IDrive)? Will there be a constant warning signal? Can it be coded out? TIA |

Why do you want to run without TPMS? Cost is negligible and it is very important on these cars. Tirerack has TPMS for $35 each.

I just bought the ones from Tire Rack. Will have them installed in a few days and will let you know how it goes.

Besides, the TPMS is so inaccurate. s/ If you solely depend on them to gauge your PSI, you might end up losing control of the car and hopping a curb because the reading was off by a little bit. /s |
