Exclamation F80 M3 BMW Performance sideskirts from IND!

BMW’s M Performance side skirts for the F82 M4 were a hit with coupe owners everywhere the moment they were introduced. Unfortunately, M3 owners were left with no solution from BMW.

As some members of BimmerPost know, it is possible to modify the F82 sideskirts to fit an M3. IND does now stock modified M3 fitment sideskirts at all times, for those who simply want a complete solution.

Our modified sideskirts are a perfect fit for the F80 M3, and can be pre-painted at IND and shipped directly to you, ready to install.
  • Sold as a pair
  • OEM Core
  • Pre-painted (optional)

The F80 M3 BMW Performance sideskirts may be viewed at the following link to our online store:
https://ind-distribution.com/product?sku=BMWP-F80-SILL

Thank you for offering this option. Question for you, do these come with all the hardware necessary to install (looks like you have to drill 15 holes underneath the rocker panels?), or is this installed with betalink?

OEM matte black: $425

Pre-painted: $675

Please contact an IND representative for more information!

We're happy to help!

The sideskirts don't come with a drill, but do come with the necessary push-rivets to install. BMW's own instructions suggest installation with Betalink, push rivets, and 3M double sided tape. You can of course use only double sided tape and push rivets for easier removal, but that will be less secure.

I can email the BMW OE installation instructions over to you, if you'd like.

These look really good... I've really been trying not to mod but this may start me down a dangerous path. Glad you posted a pic of a car with no front lip which is what I would have to do (lip won't clear my driveway).

So you are very satisfied with this side skirt that mod by IND?

and why you recommend to get push fastener? The ones that come with not good enough?

I am very satisfied! I showed our parts manager and he was blown away. He emailed our area parts rep to see if any progress has been made to make these.

You need to use longer push rivets at the ends because the ones provided are too short to hold and just fall out.

In the thread it only mentions the M3. I'm assuming the fitment of the M4 is different. Could you provide some insight. Thanks a bunch.

BMW's original side skirts are made for the M4, so those are a flawless OE fit.

The length works well, and isn't too short, but it does depend slightly on how they're installed by the individual.

How are they different from OEM rocker panels that could be had cheaper

There are no OEM rocker panels for the M3, only The M4 which need modifying. Plus the price is equivalent to OEM. The higher price is for painted which I don't believe BMW even sells, especially for individual colors.

Bought mine in standard OEM black, fit was perfect. IND is the bees knees.
