Yeah I was ok with waiting the extra 2 months for all the custom options before production started but after it finished production on April 4th it shouldn't be just sitting waiting for a carrier. I'm fairly certain it was sitting at Ready for transport for about 45 days then it finally switched to awaiting carrier assignment and it's been like that for the past 10 days now or so. When I called the BMW Genius support they said it was on the way to the port, from looking at these posts I don't think it takes over a week to get to the port so it sounds like it's still sitting.

Thanks for this post. When I've called the genius line in the past few weeks I've been told production starts June 4-8 and production finishes June 4-8. Checking on the new site, I'm currently at production begins, along now having a VIN.

I know some people have said the old site still lags, but the old site does show production begins for me on that site as well. Granted I hadn't looked in a couple days, so maybe it is lagging.

Hmm. The image on mine shows silver 437 wheels but I ordered black 666s with zcp. Anybody else have mismatches?

I have silver 437s on the main garage page, but when I go to the tracking page where it actually shows all the different steps through the factory, the picture is correct with black 666s

Shows 437s on both pages for me, though it says 666s in the m competition drop down. Might have to call my SA and double check.

Interesting. On the old tracking page, it shows my comp pack with the 666's. On the new "my garage" tracking page it shows it with the correct spec (black with sakhir interior) but it has the silver 18's.

Mildly concerned. What a first world problem lol

mine also but I have a custom color exterior so it might be because of that.

There are updating issues for sure. Mine says that my M4 is at the port awaiting its ship in Germany... meanwhile my dealer called me today and I will be driving the car home tonight.

Congrats and thanks for updating us. I just called the Genius hotline and I'm on a boat!! The "Drive Green Highway" curious if anyone else is on this one? Arrives into Galveston on June 9th, can't wait!

I called the hotline and they were like its pending

When you call a BMW Genius they will tell you what ship you are on. Then you can see where your ship is by following the recommendations here: LINK.
