Oracle Violet Metalic? Is that a 1 of 1? I've never even heard of that lol. Outside of Twilight Purple, Merlin, and Daytona Violet, I cant think of any other purple colors BMW made.

I tried to show the video to GF on a ultrawide screen, only to be greeted by windowboxing

I enjoyed that a lot and the car is very nicely done. I suggest next time either shorten the video or shoot more different angles because i find that front 3/4 steady cruising shot repetitive. I think some close up detail shots of the engine, around the car and a drone shots would have made it epic.

Great color, and awesome videography! I would trim out 30sec and add in what happens after the light turned green next to that yellow Porsche...

The blue calipers go well and blend in with the purple, but you might switch to a Red M or Brembo kit if you want to add some pop to the side view. No other adds. Love the yellow turn tail lights with step delay.

I got rid of my FIRs because it looks so one dimensional just like any other one piece wheel with a flat face. Unquestionably the best performing wheels for the F8X, but you give up as much in visual drama as one can clearly see in the video. At least I can.

I'd get rid of the cute aftermarket lights for the factory icon units. It just cheapens the car instantly. Just look at the insane amount of E46 and E90s on their 3rd and 4th owners who seem to harbor a certain disdain for anything factory designed. Please just leave the headlights, rear lights, and bulbs alone.

Just my opinion!

That color is amazing! I've always had a soft spot for purple hues.

On a side note, does anyone know why anytime I watch a vid from the Bimmerpost app, it never has sound? Does anybody have that issue as well?

Agreed. Though I think they filmmakers were limited to whatever rig they were using. There's only so many ways a cameraman can hang out of a window :P

I started watching it on my iMac but soon realized I needed my TV and surround system. The car sounds were mouth-watering and that's a sick track as well. My neighbours are not going to be happy for the rest of the day. Well done!
