it looks so nimble and controllable, corners flat. But i am not liking the sound from the exhaust to me it doesnt sound like an M should i miss the days of the high reving screamers. but if it looks anything like the f30 (which it will just with more aggressive styling) it will be beautiful

As regards the sound, it's the same discussion that was when the E9x M3 came with it's "muscle car" soundtrack. And with the F10 M5. Not how an M should sound... Today I prefer the sound of the F10 M5 over the E60, didn't in the beginning though. As human beings we adapt to change, but often resist it. Same will happen here, exhaust will sound different in person. Akra et al will come out with aftermarket exhausts that will make it sound even meaner. All will be good And the cracks on upshifts sounds better in person. The A45 AMG has ignition cut on upshifts that creates the same effect. F1 and Formula Renault 3,5 has ignition cut on upshifts that create explosions (unburnt fuel in the exhaust manifolds)!!! On a stock exhaust you obviously have to keep it tolerable to the average buyer, but with an aftermarket exhaust... Those cracks on upshifts is just amazing in person Last edited by Boss330; 07-23-2013 at 05:17 AM.. |

Wow I can appreciate everyone's enthusiasm with our current v8 but I'd take a boosted 6 all the time. I've just had such great experience with turbo'd cars. With turbo efficiency as advanced as it is today, the power you can get out of an engine, and gas mileage you save I am just a big fan. I also frankly equally like the sound of a big spool and bov to the engine note. Plus just imagine the tuning possibilities, from breathing and tunes to upgraded turbos. I will say I'd probably wait till my2+ so the kinks can get worked out, but we will see. This video also just got me so excited I may call my dealer today to put a deposit down . The car really does look exceptionally planted and very maneuverable. Wasn't there some talk about an upgraded diff of sorts? Look at how this things traction just pushes it out of the apex. Im sold no doubt 110% my only question is do I buy right away or can I somehow manage my impulses and wait a few yrs.

Sounds powerful and appears to have a great suspension! Wow M3!!!
The new M3 Jerez black It think it runs a lot and Alpine White seems to be a bit slower. A few months contact BMW Germany on the range of colors of this car and I said 9 options standard: 1 Jerez Black 2 Carbon Black 3 Estoril Blue 4 Montecarlo Blue 5 Alpine White 6 Singapore Gray 7 Silverstone 8 Havana 9 Melbourne Red To see which of these will be offered, we will know in a few months!!!!! |

Valencia Orange
This Was a recommendation by the mine to the model.
The brand review what it will offer. Valencia Orange is nice as many other colors Le Mans Blue, Space Gray, Interlagos Blue, Sankir Orange, Carmesin Rot... But can not provide all colors . And remember that info standard ,there will be option Individual program. Greetings to Belgium! |

Gonna be hard to resist, I stopped by the dealership yesterday to swap out a burnt out bulb. My SA said everyone around there was talking about the new M3/M4. She also suggested I wait a bit before jumping on it, implying first model years are known to have a bit of trouble. Told me the F30's have had about 4 recalls. We also reminiced about the HPFP on the N54, she remembered there were cars on the lots for months due to the lack of supply. I appreciated the honesty. Who knows maybe BMW will get this right off the bat? Time will tell.
P.S. It pays to be polite to your SA, walked right out of the office and swapped out 3 new bulbs for me, plus gave me about 3 spares just in case it happened again. =) Last edited by BMV///M3; 07-23-2013 at 08:56 AM.. Reason: Grammer |

Another great video thanks
I really hope the sound starts transforming into something more old-M sounding. I miss the high pitch machine gun noise... The new M5/M6 engine notes don't feel as dynamic in sound as their predecessors and I hope M can do something a little different for the M3/4 and not follow their older siblings. Otherwise, the car keeps looking better and better after every video. |
