The ASD can be defeated by using a custom plug. No cutting of any wires, ASD still is serviceable.

Stopping power is a function of tire traction these days. Even basic brake systems can lockup the wheels or hit the ABS threshold, at that point bigger brakes do nothing.

I believe the aim with bigger brakes in general is not more power (actually torque) but better power dissipation for more consistent performance over repeated use.

And the CC brakes on this M3/4 will be more designed for long life under street conditions than high energy conditions like racing.

Right but the question was two part, the first about fade (which CC should help and hopefully is an improvement) and second was about power, which as addressed by several, is not relevant with modern performance cars.

It breaks my heart. You know I always ask my self why is BMW going backwards? We have made so much progress with bangle in terms of giving each car its own identity. I as so happy and proud to get out of the "same sausage different length" mentality. I hate the fact that all the cars are going back to that design concept, and now I can't differentiate between the new models on the road at night, and thats a problem. If an enthusiast cant differentiate how can the general public even attempt to tell the difference? Now, I would only buy a few of the new BMW's and the only one I am thoroughly excited for is the M6 GC. For anything else, I would probably want the CPO'd older version of it. :/

No. BMWi is the opposite bookend to BMW M.
They are two individual sub-brands supporting the core BMW brand in the centre. The two sub-brands will not cross-over.
But will feature their own sub-brands.
