One of the worst reviews I have seen in awhile. The 1st guy in the B4 has no idea what he is talking about.

This review was very really done and discusses all the right topics
Leaves me thinking the M3/4 with the Alpine B4 springs + shocks would be the perfect setup for those who don't track. |

Not to mention, it comes with the Akrapovic exhaust as standard so it's a better deal out of the box for people who just want a fast daily driver

A well balanced review. I thought they expressed the difference between the Alpina and M4 really good. I am in favor of the Alpina´s relaxed stance and behavior.
It looks great too

The alpina is a nice alternative to the M4 but until its based off of the M-sport trim I won't like it.
I understand they're trying to keep alpina separate from the M branding but dear god the front splitter and steering wheel just don't do it for me

So that's why it sound better to me, it's got an Akra exhaust. The MPE in comparison, an upgrade over the Cpkg exhaust, is not even close.

Indeed. I have the MPE on my ZCP M4 and it just keeps surprising me how loud it is every time I drive it but take a stock M4 (non ZCP) and it doesn't sound as good as the Alpina's Akrapovic exhaust and as you know the MPE is expensive as fuck I'd take an Alpina over a standard M4 if it wasn't for the ZCP and MPE. Just my 2 cents

I find joes review rather lacklustre, shame because he has access to some nice wheels

I think Joes reviews improve with each video. Best Alpina video since Chris Harris did the B3 video

I thought this was a great review and outlined the differences in the two cars and their intended audiences very well indeed. Those were great roads to be driving on!
Alpina always produced well sorted "gentleman express" cars. I always thought the wheels, graphics, and upholstery choices were somewhat fussy so the look of the Alpina is not for me. If you only had one car for your daily driver, the Alpina is probably the better choice. I have other cars to choose from that do the daily driving duties better than my M3 which is kept for those "special" drives and that is why I chose it. |

I know the stripes and rims are getting old, but that's what makes an Alpina an Alpina I guess. They stick to their heritage...

Two different cars for two different purposes.
Need a fast and comfortable GT for the DD, B4 it is. Need a dual purpose car that retains DD practicality but also serve as a weekend track toy, the M4 it is. Do a street review (as we have here) and I expect the B4 to get the nod. However, do a track review, and the M4 will get the nod.
