By the way, it was located outside of LA and the Valley (where I am) but it was still way close enough that our house shook and moved during the 7.1. 6.5 was further away, the main 7.1 yesterday was a bit alarming otherwise everything is fine. No damage.

Help minn19, GrussGott, myzmak
This thread https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...350&page=2 Is giving me a massive headache. You think there are some dumb threads before this but this takes the cake I think.

Earthquake scares people who hasn't lived in LA as long as some of us I think. Had a friend tell me the building was moving a lot on the 5th floor and that scared the heck out of her. Granted I think usually it is only 1 noticeable Earthquake, this time it was three within two days. So, it is a bit scary.

I'm still wondering about the 7.1. This seemed like a tiny roller. Definitely didn't feel anything like the hard "shock" I would expect from something that large and that close to the surface
The 6.5 while I was at the gym by the pool I got stranded on an bench by the sloshing water

It's just the shaking or the building swaying when it comes to people who never really felt an Earthquake, it scares them.

The Nard might be a bit closer. But we are in a sand liquefaction zone so don't feel the jarring as much

So completely unrelated but I found out my windshield has a small crack from a rock. Considering I just only noticed, I have no idea when this happened. Never had this before, anyone have any ideas?

You guys know the bunny boiling moment in some movie I don't even remember too well?
I've spent all day figuring out how to buy a pot big enough to boil one hubby. We're building the new fireplaces and my God he is annoying. And slow.

No one uses those things anymore. Btw how is the house going? You should be glad that I'm not there because I'd be cleaning while you are building then I'll yell at you for making a mess.

We are working full speed ahead with the damn historic relics I've collected. Some real progress should happen today, though we managed to fix the old fireplace in the basement already. July, the best month to stay inside and haul around bricks, you know.... I'll try to come back and give you a comprehensive report later, but this one is a busy one again too so it'll be late.

Am I the only one who remembers Fatal Attraction????
She's setting this all up to get arrested and interrogated so she can flash us all at the same time Instead of just all the nudes she sends me in WhatsApp

Coincidentally enough, when the stuck victim screams, it'll sound like they are singing along to the caterwaul that is heavy metal. You might even get away with this...you might. |

I can buy vegetables made in Finland. I can buy produce mostly manufactured in Finland and all of our meats (besides bacon, for that I'm shopping quality over country all day, every day!) are local. The easy shit. Now... since I'm me, I know what factory and where produces the shit I let my kids wear, and what the hubby wears. We are having a huge crisis over an American company that produces the best workout clothes and I banned them for future purchases. He thinks workouts naked are bad, I think I could sell tickets to it, even for a 5 am viewing. The brand is slipping. It is fast. And also, you cant exactly shot locally anymore. For carrots you can, but for most shit, you have to know your shit to try to be the only customer on the planet that cares. Buy American of swedish or polish. Lemme know how well you'll do

minn19 Buy American my ass. 90% of the stuff in the states is Made in China. I would say, funny enough, Made in America stuff is bad (when it comes to cars). Also did something I have very rarely done in when it comes to personal items that isn't my car. I randomly ran into a Grand Seiko SBGA407, it is the rare blue version of the famous Grand Seiko Snowflake. After much though and a lot of kindness from the sales person, I now have my first real luxury watch and a lighter bank account because of it. The watch is... amazingly light. Way lighter than the one I was originally looking at from GS GMT one.
