Weight Challenge: Forged vs Flowform vs Cast

Signature SV101 8.5jx19 = 19.4 LBS
HRE FF01 8.5jx19 = 24.0 LBS
Vossen CVT 8.5j19 = 27.8 LBS

In racing, every oz counts. Some guys go as wild as replacing all their stronger steel lug bolts with fragile Ti lug bolts to save a little over a 1 LB for $500. Our wheels don't cost $500 more per LB.

Signature: Reasonably price, ultra light, and super strong.

Correct, available any offset/width. Custom offset and width would be provided by you prior to ordering, our engineers will validate your submission.

Tire slippage can be prevented with our optional anti-slip knurling bead treads. When a tire slips, your setup balance will be thrown off. You can check if your existing setup slips by making a chalk mark on the wheel and tire, if it moves during an event then you have a tire slippage problem (that means you wasted your effort on balancing your wheels before a track event). You can bead blast your existing wheel barrel to try to fix it or buy forged wheels with this feature.

Who usually need this feature?
  • If you're running slicks on a stock power F8x
  • R-compound with heavily modded F8x (600whp+)

Can't wait for your aggressive setup. The anti-slip knurling bead tread will work wonders on the R-Compound.

GM took awhile to figure out that tire slippage exists. They solved it by media blasting their wheels, we solve it with knurling bead.

David ordered SV101 in Gloss Black - 10Jx19 ET26 and 11Jx19 ET44 for his M4 with CCB on 10/3/2016. We completed this set 2 days ahead of schedule - 10/25/2016. Can't wait to see them mounted and coming to a track near you.

At Signature, we under promise and over deliver.

I currently run Apex EC7, 18x10 25mm and 18x11 44mm, Nitto NT01 275/305, perfect fit.

What would it cost to get the SV101 in the same sizes/offsets, gloss black or gunmetal?

Also, I'm assuming the 19" would clear CCB correct?

And what track tires would you recommend for 19?

PM sent. Great feedback on offset, that's exactly what our buddy David ordered in gloss black above but ET26 in front instead for slightly less poke. Our wheel barrels are huge, the 19" will give you even more CCB clearance compared to OEM 19s.

I'm assuming you're running negative 2-3 degrees front camber?

Great looking wheel.
Any TUV or JWL certification?

Hello there. Our wheels exceed JWL standards and VIA certifications. The Signature market in Germany/Austria/Switzerland (countries requiring TUV) isn't ripe enough to go down the TUV certification path. Very political, time consuming, and costly process. Germany/Austria/Switzerland buyers beware: Not every wheel company who "claims" TUV certified are actually TUV approved in Switzerland, Austria, AND Germany. (AND is underlined and in bold for a reason)

Hahah, I love your signature blurb by the way.

I appreciate what you're saying and nothing personal against you or your company. You guys seem regit, but it's the companies that get the JWL/VIA or TUV certification that set themselves apart from the mass of wheel companies out there that promise the world and deliver junk. Again, nothing personal against you guys.
I'm hoping you guys can get certified at some point as you grow. It think it really helped APEX set their wheels apart from the other wheel companies out there. If you can offer forged wheels at that weight with JWL/VIA at a reasonable price. You'd kill it.
.
I saw a bunch of F8x at Buttonwillow last weekend, so there's a market for such a wheel.

I don't think my response was clear. We ARE JWL/VIA certified as shown on our website and we DO offer the most reasonably price full forged custom wheels on the market, while delivery at an impossible 5 week arrival guarantee. We haven't missed our deadlines once, customers on this forum can attest that our wheels actual arrival is 4.55 week.

NEVER buy forged wheels that are not JWL/VIA certified.

That's what I wanted to hear.
Thanks for confirming that. You should stress that on the forums.
Great work!

PS: on the Tesla Model S, under Fitment, is it a 21" and a 20" staggard setup?
You might want to post on teslamotorsclub.com The prices for forged wheels there is insane and none seem certified.

More Weight Data from Customers Here... Evidence Alert!!!

REAR SV101 19x10.5 = 21.60lbs
REAR SV103 19x11.0 = 21.55lbs

Just to give you an idea, Stock Forged 437M REAR 19x10 is 23.40lbs

A lot of people put higher quality wheels for the street and cheap weak/heavy wheels on the track. That makes no sense, you're not going 145mph and hitting 1+ g cornering on the street (at least we hope not).

Does our 19" clear CCBs? You be the judge (hint: more clearance compared to OEM 19"). Welcome to the Signature Movement, David. Have a blast at COTA with our wheels.

My personal street/track setup. Will do 19" on the next track setup with Hoosier. KW HAS coming for corner balancing, looking forward to Spring track events.

Porsche 911 GTS with Signature SV102 - 20x9 ET45 Mild Concave front and 20x12 ET45 Deep Concave Rear. They're 1/2" wider than stock, but still 1lb lighter than factory forged wheels.

It never makes sense to us why people buy rotary/flow forged wheels for the track and save their nice full forged wheels for the streets. Even your OEM wheels are full forged. Unless you plan to drive faster on the street than the track, then that logic would make sense to us.

Signature offer reasonably priced full forged JWL/VIA certified wheels for you to safely enjoy your track days, yet still beautiful enough to show them off at cars and coffee.

I won't disclose the brand of this rotary/flow forged wheel below. This guy had a bad day at the track, the wheel ripped off without warning. Luckily no one was killed, so consider this before you put another set of weak wheels for the track.
