What’s up with this split tail light/turn signal design on this Hyundai?!? ….and I thought BMW was bad.

I have a theory that new lighting technology keeps getting brighter and brighter so they keep moving the lights lower and lower. That's just my take, because its so ugly and I can find no other logical reason to design cars in this type of fashion...

Fletcher Jones Porsche in Fremont hit me up today. They received a PTS Slate Gray GT3 that's on consignment for $310k. The spec sheet is minimal; the highlights being PCCB's and FAL (...neither of which I care about nor want). It's out of my price range anyway.

Don’t know if you remember when I posted a pic of this car back when they got it on trade last summer. It is still obviously there and started just shy of 300k. Down to 265 now, maybe things will soften enough to come down to reality.

I hate those, I’m surprised it’s legal to design the turn signals lower than the brake lights like that. Looks and is functionally stupid/less safe IMO.

No, FAL isn't necessary for me and the areas I drive. The only time I've scraped the Sport Design front lip was while exiting a really steep hotel driveway in Santa Barbara; a decline that FAL wouldn't have even cleared.

If I found an example that was reeeeaaaalllllyyyyy close to what I would order myself, I might try to stretch my budget to make it happen. I'm not a fan of the Slate Gray color, so I'm not really inclined to even entertain it.

The GT3 in that first link would be right up my alley if it were a manual transmission. Do you have a connect/contact there?

I did the same, miss it, but not as much as I thought I would. Building my manual replacement, not everyone's flavor here. Factory 5 Shelby Daytona Coupe replica and building a Ford 347 stroker V8 to put in it. 6MT T56 transmission, and engine should land in 440-450 HP territory...

Also ordered a Cadillac CT5-V Blacking about a year ago and still waiting, might not get built....their values not holding up though and market is starting to cave so if it does I might not take it...you likely got rid of the M in time Tecnniqe...





I also went to the BMW M track days in Monticello in October. Drove the G80s. Agree with the press - dynamically was as good as the F80 if not slightly better feel. I just can get over the G8X grills, said it again and why I'm banned...the grills. Not woke enough for those apparently. Don't care....I was laughed at by BMW rep and a couple participants there because I was taking more pictures of the 1970s Porsche RS's there than the BMW offerings. The 2 series chassis is great even with the clearly quickly facelifted bumper cover. The new M2 will be the one in my book. To all the electric and hybrid stuff there .
