That should not be the case for your Alpine White. You should not have an individual tag as AW is a standard color on almost every BMW offered currently.

Any color not available as standard on a specific model will receive the tag of Individual, regardless if it is standard on another model. The Melbourne Individual tag makes sense as Melbourne wasn't a color for the F8X.

My '18 LRG M3CS has an individual tag. My '19 SMB M4CS doesn't have an individual tag (or even a "normal" paint code sticker under the hood or on the drivers side rail)...

You beat me to it.

It’s due to the other features on the CS such as seats and dash trims, door panels that are classed as individual items.

Any car with any individual touch, no matter how small, will have a BMW individual plaque under the bonnet.

Interesting about the individual plaque. I don't can't even locate my color code on my M4cs Alpine White II on my hood or in the engine bay.

Also when you damage a wheel or need to replace one with an insurance claim, BMW's database will show an orbit grey style 666m wheel from the competition model, which is valued at $1,200 lower than the 763M. I'm not even sure why this is, but I kept going back and forth between the insurance and at least 4 body shops who confirmed the same thing when they entered the VIN on my CS. Perhaps a BMW NA glitch? But according to their database, it shows the car was tagged with a style 666m wheel.

So fun fact if you ever need an insurance claim...
