Pesky P112F error code...
I'm getting a P112F error code that I can't get to go away. Any help would be appreciated.
"P112F - Manifold Absolute Pressure to Throttle Angle - Too High (Bank 1) The fault is recognized when the relationship between the indicated intake manifold pressure and the mass airflow calculated based on throttle-valve angle is not correct" So far I've gotten new spark plugs (ngk 97506 gapped to .02"), cleaned the MAF and MAP sensors, I've done the DME adaptation process (disconnect vent valve connector, idle for 15 mins, reconnect while running and reset codes). I could get some logs to search for the problem, but not really sure what I'm looking for once I get the logs. |

Did you check the sensor on the manifold, not on the TMIC? There's a second one down there.

Perhaps there's something inside ISTA that could check calibration of the throttle body flap, but I don't know for sure.

Update: Cleaned throttle body and I'm still getting the same code. Since the throttle housing assembly is the same part between the S55 and N55, I'm gonna swap the throttle body from my N55 x3 and see if the problem persists.

I saw this thread while troubleshooting my p112f code. The code popped up after installing the Vargas breather cap. The code popped up after 10min or so. It seems the code is related to crank case pressure. This likely ties into the map and throttle plate angle as if the map cannot see the crankcase pressure offset when recycling the PCV. I reseated my Vargas breather and reset the code and so far it's stayed off. If any still have this issue, maybe think of this as a PCV issue rather than a vacuum issue. Hope this helps.
