S55 runs like a rotary, no fault codes??

Hello,

Need some help with my f82.

My problem started a day ago on the highway, at wot sometimes felt a slight hesitation.
Now my car runs like a rotary at idle and thru the rev range when revving and also shakes a lot. Like it's running on 5cil.

BUT I have no error OR fault code. Scanned with ISTA and also on bootmod shows no fault codes??

Where do I start with no fault codes?

Recently changed downpipes with stock cats (checkt al lambda connections and seems fine?)

My dealer is booked full for an other week so any help would be appreciated!

Sorry for bad English!!!

A wild guess here but it's possible the car was coded to run aftermarket downpipes and something is wrong with the stock cats you just installed yet the car is being prevented from showing it. Again, a wild guess.

Were they used cats? Or new?

Think it's my injector, already switch coilpack and stays on cylinder 2.

Weird that bootmod 'blocks' these faultcodes and drivetrain errors etc !?

I did have o2 sensor cel off in my tune but don't think these codes have anything to do with o2 sensor’s no ?

BM3 doesn't block codes unless you specifically put them in the ignore list. It can take an injector a little while to "break". Are you running E85 on stock turbos?

Get your plugs out and look at them. That's always my first step. If #2 is wet with fuel then you know that DI broke. If the cylinder has any fuel down in it then it needs to be sucked out.

It was definitely bm3 blocking the codes (installed it myself months ago, didn't block any codes). Probably scanned 20 times yesterday with bm3 app, ista, my autel scanner and even with my MHD app from my previous car. When I flashed back to stock the codes popped up right away.

No, pump gas on stock turbo's.

Good to know that you need a stock flash to find all codes.

I was running custom E85 map and had an injector failure. The dash showed limp mode and requested immediate shutdown. Not sure why yours didn't.

Man, that's crazy. Another reason for me to get off the fence on a stage 1 tune...

Told bootmod about the problem, all i got was 'check your plugs an coils' and 'it should not be doing that"

Love bootmod but c'mon..

Might be a fault or something in the ' cs+ ' software.

Check the compression of the affected cylinder.

Update;

Went to all the trouble of changing injector 2 and it turned out to be Spark plug cylinder 2 that died (i know should've changed plugs first...)

Note:

My spark plugs were super stuck, needed to go back and forward and even needed a prybar on my ratchet to get them out, is this common? It's my first time changing plugs etc myself

Plugs are usually under torqued, not over. The boxes say 23Nm… Maybe someone used 23 FtLbs instead of Nm, which would be 31Nm, or they just messed up.
