This is what I used when buying bolts for my 7mm that didn't come with extended bolts. Pulled from Bimmerworld's extended bolt product page. Personally, I would err on the side of longer than shorter i.e. using extended bolts meant for a 15mm spacer on your 13mm spacer.

With a 14mm x 1.25 pitch thread, you want a minimum of 11x full turns of thread engagement.
An extra 3mm spacer means you will lose nearly 2 1/2 turns over what you currently have. Having said that, wheel bolts are cheap. Much cheaper than rims, cars or hospital bills. So get the right size. Also, if you are racing on them, replace them once every 1-2 years |

The reason why I’m asking because my 10mm spacer is currently have a 38mm thread which is right according to bimmer world but bms 38mm is also rated for 12/13mm so that’s why I’m confused
