To buy or not to buy aa catless downpipes....

Hello all! Had a good deal land in my hands, just wanted to get some feedback on the Active Autowerks Downpipes?

Quality, sound? and cons to it ? Also if anyone has some sounds clips of the downpipes with a stock exhaust that would be awesome.

I’ve had it with stock mid pipe & exhaust. Very well made pipes, Sound awesome at WOT, cons would be gas smell. That’s about it.
I’ve got a set for sale in interested, if your deal doesn’t go through.

thanks for the feedback Freak1c
Are you saying you get more of a gas smell outside the car or your smelling it inside the car ??

How much are you looking to get for yours and where are you located ??

When I started the car in my garage it would smell, nothing inside the car unless I opened the door after starting it. I’m in Los Angeles. I have a set in the FS thread asking 500.

The active downpipes are top-notch quality

pros, better sound, more power
cons, fuel smell

I just bought them after only a week after having VRSF. VRSF didnt have the little bracket or flex joints.

VRSF caused a little vibration at idle. Very, very subtle... but i wanted my expensive car to feel nice.

The only con is that that they're "expensive" for the price, but that's really it.

DM me if you want to see some pictures/threads that i started on here.
