I am thinking of doing a CS set up for the wheels, looking at 10 J x 20-inch for the rear and 9 J x 19 inch for the front or something similar to that, any recommendation on the tires for summer day driving, probably won't track it.

Also, any recommendations for break set up? I have very limited knowledge in that area.

I have a feeling based on the parts listed that you may want a more involved suspension setup as opposed to just the MP HAS. YMMV. I'm excited to see this come together.

Also didn't see a front lip on the list - I vote for the CS one

Awesome build list! Any reason why you're going with Dinan tune versus one of the better proven tunes like Bootmod3/JB4, etc.?

Hey there, I am thinking of Dinan because I had Dinan on my M235i in the past and also it won't void the warranty.

Fair enough! Just checking. If warranty is the concern, then It makes total sense. If performance is the goal, then I'd definitely look somewhere else.

Awesome! Looking forward to the build updates!

So the person I am working with at my local BMW dealership is suggesting I should keep the M Performance Titanium exhaust that comes with the ultimate package.

He is also suggesting that no need to change mid pipe as well.

Any thoughts for those who have aftermarket exhaust, comparing the the MPE?

Thanks

Yes, warranty is the biggest concern, after the warranty is up, or once I get the feel for the car and get use to it, I would look into fine tuning it even more!

i would strongly suggest ditching the dinan stuff. you can get a much better product for a fraction of the price.

Looking great so far! How difficult was it fitting the CF front lip spoiler under the CF splitters? I was told by RW carbon that there needs to be some modification to either the splitter or the lip spoiler to get the two to fit together.

I agree with that however, since the car is still under warranty, I will stick with Dinan and switch later on

I personally didn't put them on, but didn't hear any issues about them being put on, there are screws for it as well I believe and it's on rock solid now, there might be a very very slight gap between the two but hardly noticeable.

you dont actually keep your warranty with bmw. they still frown if something were to happen. dinan would just pay the bill. how much time do you have left with warranty sincee its a pre-LCI2 car, might just b a better option to wait and get a proper tune

Totally agree with BMW not being on the hook, but at least someone is paying the bill instead of me if something happens, it's a 2017 model, so still a few years of warranty left
