wannagofast 1/2 mile event SWFL

Hi. First time posting in this group so I wanted to share an event that's coming up.

Wannagofast is doing a 1/2 mile event for 2 days. Unlimited runs, from a roll or a dig. Registration opens December 7th.

I'm personally going just to see what I can do from a roll and practice launching.

250 bucks a day to drive in a straight line, this is nuts.

In a safe environment against other high horsepower cars...

And not to be a butt about it, but $250 is less than half a day's pay for a lot of M owners.

I guess you'll understand the costs and effort involved if you ever tried to organize a major event at a private location, all while factoring in staff, utilities and promotional materials. I doubt anyone who values their time would dare to do something like this for free or minimal profits.

Awesome, well organized event. Goal for the car was 160 mph from a dig. Had traction issues even on drag radials. Still happy with the car.
