A little. black sapphire is very nice, and was the same color I had on my e39. And it cleans up so nice. I kind of wish I had one of the wonderful blues. Tanz and SMB, even AzBlack, and also SO looks great in person.

Then I realize so many colors look so good. And then I also realize I just have a car addiction that I cant afford to sustain. I would probably have 6 of these in different colors if I could swing it. lol. A bit more expensive than a few pairs of shoes.

Till the last minute I was debating between MW and SS. I went with MW and now kinda regret it - I find it pretty bland. I wish I had gone with MW. Nonetheless, there are certain benefits to it like it - it stays clean way longer.

anyone have pics of san marino blue next to velvet blue ? I feel that the velvet is going to be far more rare since SMB is a standard color option and the velvet is only available by individual order or getting a new heritage edition car. Maybe something for OP to consider.

Velvet Blue :

Yas Marina.... twice, this time with the chrome 666s. Wouldn’t have it any other way. Ymb gets so much “good” attention if you know what I mean.

When shopping I really wanted MW over Sakhir Orange, ended up getting AW/SO after seeing both in person. No regrets at all, absolutely love it.

MW still looks great but the more I see it, the more I think pearl whites look a bit feminine. No offense male MW owners.

I guess it's just embedded in my brain from seeing so many females driving around pearl white Lexus IS and Infiniti Q50s.

I was a bit worried about my decision to go Avus/Cohiba and had never had a brown interior but I am happy. Needed to move away from black or red interiors so this fit the bill.

Stick with SMB for sure. White is sooooo boring and blends with every other bimmer on the road.

Yes my color choice was my biggest regret (Alpine White). I've had my F82 for about 4 years now and it's been wrapped for 3.5 years.

SMB / GB is nice.

Biggest problem I see for you is that there is no going back to boring colors now ...

Very true, we now need to spend 5k more if we order new. That's ok!

Daytona Violet or Fire Orange for me next time!

While I think my MW looks soo much better than primer white (I think they call it alpine white), neither holds a candle to the awesome blues - especially Tanzanite and SMB.

Don’t regret alpine white since it was optioned with what I wanted and already on dealer lot. I’ve considered white on black a classic since E36 days, but if I had ordered, probably would have gone SSII or tanzanite blue since both really pop with the lines of the F80.

Color to me is usually about last on the priority list. Most of my cars over the past 15 years have been hard to find in the configuration and condition I wanted, so instead of waiting forever for a color, when I find what I want the color is irrelevant. Thats how until 2 months ago we had 4 black cars, luckily down to 2 black cars right now.
