M4. But the performance and value of the C7 cannot be denied.

C7 will be an amazing performer for sure, and the Z06 version will be nearly unbeatable for what it is. Still, there will be just so many around. I really like having a car that isn't quite that common.

The c7 will demolish the m3/4 so from a performance standpoint it is a no brainer. Its the same question it has long been. Do you want 10 times the performance but drive a vette or you want pretty good performance and have a bmw.

Its now getting even closer however as the interior of the vette and seats are top notch and better than anything bmw has showed lately so no longer is the poor interior a mark against the vette.

Frankly its all about if you can get over owning a vette. I personally despise the taillights that look like a Camaro on the new vette so I will be going Porsche but if I had to choose I would be c7 over the next m3/4

as usual you are pretty far off. the new m3/4 will be close in weight to the c7 with equal power and far more tuneable. 600whp will be fairly easy to achieve in a car that weighs 3300 lbs. both with be beasts.

Since we know nothing about the M4 other than its exterior, I dunno. That C7 is pretty fantastic.

M4. heres why.

corvette is very mainstream, i know BMWs are mainstream also. but there are parts of the US where not many people buy M3s and thats where i live. the typical american runs to mustangs and corvettes for performance cars. I don't care how good those cars performance are. They overpopulate the roads.

i dont buy cars base just on performance numbers. I need to love everything about the car.

the M4 is classy, sporty and rare( in my location). thats why i want the M4 over a vette. i am already seeing C7s now. plus i am not really loving the way it the vette looks.

I just took a spin around Laguna Seca in a new C7 with a professional driver. Wow is that thing amazing. I can't imagine the M4 being light enough or powerful enough to hang at a higher speed track.

The M4 was also here at Laguna Seca but it didn't see any track time. Just hung out indoors all day.

M4 hands down if I had to pick! However, truth of the matter is I prefer my current M3 over both!

When was the last time you saw a 25yr ~35yr old male in a C6?
When was the last time you saw a non-Caucasian in a C6?

Yeah, I know, GM marketing is still scratching their heads as why they can't sell Corvettes to the younger crowd (and non-Caucasian) either, but they THINK C7 will change all that.

Simply put, a lot of guys here just cannot be seen in a 'Vette because it's not who we are, performance and interior quality has nothing to do with it.

If I don't need the extra seats, I'd take a C7 Z51/Z06 over the new M3/M4 any day.

A loaded(not fully loaded but loaded) C7 Z51 is around ~$65K, which is probably similar to new M3/M4's starting price, and loaded new M3/M4 is likely to be around $85K, that could be close to C7 Z06's starting price.

A tuned new M3/M4 may be close to C7 Z51 in terms of performance, but it won't touch the C7 Z06 in the performance category unless you dump tons of money into modification.

You Guys don't even know what the New M4 is even about yet, so before you decide to jump ship you should wait until the M4's out and how it will perform. The Vette is going to be a great car for sure, but vette's seem to loose there luster pretty quick IMO.

I agree. I think things will play out where their performance are roughly equal. Now cost to performance, that's another story.

For my taste (I mean I am on a BMW fansite) ill take the M4. But, truthfully, I am going to keep my e92 M3 long term, and see what comes of the M2.

I'm sorry but I had not seen one in white and it looks GOOD. I hate black wheels but would consider ordering that car exactly as pictured. Wow!

Interesting that the Vette and M4 have a similar indented roof.

I would never have considered a Vette in the past - but this one could change my mind.
