Yeah I'm just gonna bring both and see on the day. I can never tell with rain in the Seattle area... could be a drizzle... could be a downpour. There are a couple spots at Pacific Raceways that collect water based on a few video laps I've seen.

A quick reminder of why M3s freaking rock. And there’s a full jack right behind the trunk tire!
Won’t fit all that in a 911

I've done wet days there on PS4S, no problems. Just keep the speed down on the straight with the puddles. |

You can actually fit all 4 tires in the back seat. Then the trunk truly opens up for stuff.

So overall thoughts on todays event:
1. I don't like wet track days 2. I prefer The Ridge to Pacific Raceways 3. A downpour in cold & the rain is not a good way to learn a new track Positives: 1. Having proper pads and fluid is a game changer, there is so much potential that I couldn't tap due to conditions, but even given the conditions I could get rather late into braking zones without breaking a sweat. 2. I've been consistently throwing in Neck workouts during my ab sessions which has made a noticeable difference in reducing neck strain. Having a HANS also helps, though I was not specifically leaning on it for that purpose. 3. Cup2s were great for the very small window that it was dry and above 55 degrees today. Lots of grip, enough to match the tires & brakes. Overall I'll give Pacific another shot - outside of my entry level driver skill needing improvement, there were some things about today that I would like to have happen differently next time I'm out there.

If you put the wheels in the other direction they do fit.
Suggestion: use a winch to tie them to the rear shelf baby seat anchor point. Keeps them safe and secure back there |

The (toe of the) boot at WGI should be driven more like a double-apex(ish), a la Big Bend at LRP. Discuss... (See also https://blayze.io/blog/perfecting-the-boot-at-wgi) Last edited by jfritz27; 06-23-2022 at 09:15 AM.. |

I need to find a way to fit a set of wheels in my F80 with a harness bar in the back.

Awesome thank you! I currently have the backs of the rear seat still installed to easily make the rear usable after removing the BK bar.

Managed a couple more flat 31's at COTA this weekend on RT660's... Thought I'd share that the GTS held up great in the heat, 101*F with 30% humidity. Engine oil JUST touched 250*F on my last lap/last session of the day and coolant temps peaked at 220*F. Really happy with how the car behaved on such a hot day.

I had my TPS chart up so I can't comment on that. I did let off when it hit 250*F though, since my tires were sitting at 240*F internal temps and 37 psi...The lap before I topped out at 147 mph on the back straight when normally I'm at around 152-3, so it wouldn't surprise me if I was down ~50 hp.
