Can I use fallout remover on ceramic coat?

Must have ran through some fresh asphalt and have some small splash Mark's on my side skirts. My car is coated with 22ple. This stuff doesn't want to come off and I dont want to rub to hard. Tried a few detailer sprays.

Can I safely use sonax fall out spray or iron x on a ceramic coated vehicle to get the tar off?

I hear intermittently around the board that I should not use a clay bar as it will eat the coating off?

Yes,

I would get a tar remover to take it off and then wash completely afterwards.

clay isn't going to EAT the coating...lol

Coatings need to be polished off, not wiped off

This never occurred to me, seems like a good question though. Unfortunately, I don't have a for-sure answer. What I do know is this: my wheels are ceramic coated and I use Sonax or Iron on them all the time. Doesn't seem to affect the ceramic at all. Nevertheless, on a painted surface I'd use that stuff pretty sparingly and get it off there quickly. If you try this on your car, let us know what happens.
