Steering Wheel Trim - Starlock Retaining Clip.

Looking to change the trim piece on the lower portion of my steering wheel.

Has these clips that you need to remove (Starlock Retaining Clip). I saw the DIY on how to do it, but I'm having a hard time getting them off.

Was thinking of getting them cut and replacing them with new hardware. Spoke with multiple part vendors and all came back saying BMW doesn't have a part number.

If you see the attached picture, it's the stainless clip (6 of them).

Does anyone here know where I can get them?

Garage List
In the past I simply took the part in question with me to either Home Depot, Lowes, or the hardware store to choose the correct size - all 3 of the places carry push on retaining clips such as these in different sizes
