Does F80/2 have Dynamic Brake Control?

BMW has been putting Dynamic Brake Control in their cars for years. It is a system that, according to BMW, when in an emergency, you apply the brake pedal quickly and with force but without really further increasing brake pressure, Dynamic Brake Control (DBC) instantly builds up maximum brake pressure, bringing your BMW more quickly to a halt.

But I couldn't find a source to confirm whether or not F8x M3/4s have it. Any ideas?

On F80/2s, the brake pedal travel/feel do change under different braking situations - around town the pedal feels long and soft, for easier modulation. Under emergency/hard braking, the pedal firms up quite a bit and gives that confident brake feel. So I assume ours car do have it?

It's not mentioned in the F8x training manuals. It is mentioned in the F3x document. I'd be surprised if M got rid of it.

It would likely be visible in ISTA and available to be coded out.

That will be great if we can code out the DBC - I'm really fed up with the inconsistent brake feel - especially when running with track pad with lower initial and cold bite.

Then that could be attributed to the pad itself, no?

Been months, but I have not noticed any inconsistencies. And my ferodo track pad has more bite

I believe it does, unexpectedly tested this last week when the light was green and traffic came to an abrupt halt. Did panic emergency stop so fast (lifting off gas to brake) and then the hazards came on.

Inconsistent braking is something I've noticed as well when I drive in the rain during the colder (mid 50s deg F) days. Like about half an inch of what feels like nothing and then kind of hard braking (No TC lights, or ASB/cadence braking feel). Kind of scary actually, But chalked it up to running summers in the cold (fairly new 295/265 ps4s).

I don't think this has anything to do with DBC. It's just water film on the rotors that accumulates, despite the brake drying function. Normal on these cars, I've had it happen as well.
