I apologize, I did see that, but my dealer is saying no...is there something more concrete other than a forum post I can show him?

Not sure, but my dealer knew of the March rates when I placed my order (66% for 10K miles), and my Dealer Disclosure paperwork lists it as 63% Base with an added 3% Bump.

If your CA can't find it, the finance guy should be able to...it is 65% for 10K miles, don't let them fool you.....or go to another dealer. They may be using the M3 allocation issue as a way to make you overlook the residual.

The allocation issue was mentioned, but that should not affect the residual rates as you stated.

MSRP 86k & Invoice 79k. What should the Negotiated price be here in California. I know someone in Georgia got 10%/10k off MSRP. Do you guys think 5% off MSRP is decent enough( Dealer offered 3k off & i want atleast 4500 ......am i pushing too much?). Don't have a trade in & this is for M4 Convertible lease 12k/yr, 61% residual. Will be willing to put 7 MSD's to bring down the MF.
Thanks

but sadly, you guys are right... no more allocations. gonna have to wait until mid-July when the 2016 orders can be placed. on a waiting list for now. !@#$

When would we get the May lease numbers?

I'm picking up my M3 tomorrow (4/30) and I want to know if I should wait an extra day to see what May rate will be like. My dealer said I can't just wait and take the better rate. Is it true that I will have to forfeit April figures once I decided to wait??

Does anyone have a legitimate guess on what May rate will be? Any suggestions will be appreciated

When did you order your car? Since you are on the east coast, you have 60 days to lock in rates from the time of order. I don't know when that starts; if it's the from the day the car gets a production # or what. So if the May numbers are released Fri or Sat and you are within the 60 days, you can lock in the May rates, if they are better. If they aren't better, you can still lock in the April rates as long as that 60 day period hasn't lapsed.

The countdown starts the last day of the month in which you were approved for the loan. E.g.: If you sign on April 2, your 60 days until signing start on April 30 (therefore, you have time until June 30).

Can you guys let me know if this sounds like a decent deal or not?

2015 M3 Mineral White/Black PRICED AT $75,175 MSRP, got them down to $1 above invoice at $70,615.

Options:

Executive
19" Silver wheels
Lighting package
HK Sound
DCT

Options I would have liked
Adaptive M suspension
NO moonroof

36mo 10k miles $798/mo before taxes

Also out of state, so I might have to pitch in on shipping. Should I bite or wait on her and wait on leasing rates for next month? Or wait altogether on a 2016 order probably around fall?

Does that include a down payment or MSD?

As far as MSRP it looks like a great deal. But the lease payment also depends on:

-Money Factor (which also depends on security desposits)
-Capital reduction down payments (which only save you financing over the lease term but expose you to risk of loss in the case of totalling the car and reduce flexibility to get out of hte lease later and in theory should always be $0)
-Residual percentage (usually set by BMW but you need to confirm it's optimal)
-Acquisition fee rolled into capital cost

The quality of a lease deal is always dependent on money factor and residual. Also Some states make you pay the entire taxes up front (making leases comparatively less desirable).

I plugged your deal into a calculator with 0 taxes, 65% residual, 0.0013 money factor, 0 down, $795 acquisition and get $782.67 a month.

With 7 security deposits, I get $723.74 a month. That would require a $5250 security deposit, and the savings represent a 11.98% return on the security deposit.

With $831 down, you can get the payment to $699.98, meaning you only need a $4900 deposit and you get a return of 12.66% on your SD.

released

36 months M3 gets 129 MF and 36 month residual at 62% and $1000 Innovation credit. Enjoy!
M4 same except no innovation credit. Since M4 is not part of the heritage. Another win for the M3

.00129 = 3.096% vs. .00130 = 3.12%, which is negligible (unless saving $1.50 or so a month excites you )

So I assume that would translate to:

36 months:

.00129 62% 15k miles/yr
.00129 64% 12k miles/yr
.00129 65% 10k miles/yr

24 months:

.00129 68% 15k miles/yr
.00129 70% 12k miles/yr
.00129 71% 10k miles/yr

+ $1000 innovation credit for M3's.

(someone will need to confirm these assumptions)

Hmm... gotta be a reason they want all the M3's gone by the time the LCI M3 hits showrooms. Why incentivize a model that is already so scarce?

Damn.. so tempting to try to get a 15 M3 if that's the case.

This new rate might be a bit better

well the past few months the M3/M4 residuals have been identical to the regular 3/4 series residuals (maybe coincidence), the 3 series was 66% in March, 65% in April and now 66% again in May!

seems strange the M3 would plummet to 62%, especially with 2016s just a few months away from production, on a $75,000 build that will cost an extra $2400 to lease than April numbers! $1,000 credit is nothing compared to that $2400 increase.

Where are you getting that from? M3 15k Residual for April was 62% so it has not changed. The money factor went down slightly and now with the credit it should actually be cheaper then March's (63% numbers)

So. Does the M4 get the Innovation Credit? What is the M4's residual, is it 62 percent for 10k?
