Wait so getting a new car is not a good deal? That is breaking news to me the people that can afford this car and are buying it is because

A: They can afford it
B: Don't want to wait
C: They don't care if the price is off by a couple grand.

According to the bmw.co.uk 'build your own', the shadowline trim on the exterior is 'high-gloss,' and full leather is the one that covers the dash.

Extended has NO dash leather, glove box leather, or upper door leather. That is the one you want to pick.
Thank You

So add that as well and we are down to just $900 in the M3.
So $900 for a newer, more technologically advanced motor (..with more power and more torque), a better derived suspension, a lighter transmission, some awesome sport buckets, among other things??!???! Yeah! I think we got a good deal.
Tech is becoming a lot cheaper also. I think their margins are growing.

Happens every launch. Many errors in the initial documents.

I'm sorry but I'm a bit disappointed with the sheer amount of mess-ups BMW is making with the "misinformation". These are the M models, they should have at least a senior person from the Germany verify these documents. It looks like a guy from the NJ office tried to translate the documents that were in German and did not do a good job. Come on, we live in year 2014.

So does the car have MDM only or does it have Adaptive M Suspension? Is Adaptive M Suspension a feature that only exists in F30 cars and was copy pasted by mistake? And what was copy pasted by mistake from the M5/M6 sheet? This is crazy.

All theoretical, but from what I know about the two lighting systems I'd say under a pound.

I'm 65, and Nav finds alternate routes much more quickly, and you don't have to pull to the side of the road (like you even can on a freeway). Must admit a I still have maps in the car as backups, but have never used them.

I have found the BMW NAVI in my F10 M5 to almost useless. It literally takes me to the wrong addresses. Thank goodness I have an iPhone with Google maps!! BMW Navi is now free because that's what it's worth!!!

User error? My E92 one has worked perfectly.

Yeah, can't complain too much. Porsche is king at nickel-diming every little thing. You can get exactly what you want, but you can damn near double the base price.

The navi in my previous E90 M3 worked perfectly. The Navi problems in the F10s are well documented. Hope they fix them in the F8x.

What problems? How can M5's navigation be worse than the E90's?

It's much worse.

They switched mapping companies, and they also seem to have changed the routing algorithm.
