Peeling clear coat on cf roof

Hello,

Just wanted to reach out and see if anyone had recommendations on the most cost efficient way to cover/ remove some spots of clear coat that went missing on my carbon fiber roof. the spots are small (about the size of a finger nail) and all centered near where the windshield meets the roof. I know bmw wants to charge like 2k, so i was wondering if anyone had any clever ideas.

What caused the defects? Rock chips, sun damage? Can u spot repair or do you need to do the whole roof? Post some pics.
