Reputable shop near Mid TN to do S55 crank hub fix
I’m getting ready to purchase my first real M car. 2016 M3 with 49k miles. After some research, I think I want to go ahead and have a shop with experience do the crank hub fix so it doesn’t become an issue in the future.
Does anyone happen to know a reputable shop near the middle Tennessee area that is capable of this work? I’ve heard horror stories of the “fix” sometimes making the issue worse if the work isn’t performed correctly. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! |

I've been working with Kennedy Performance a good bit over the last several months and they've done more crank hub fixes than anyone else around here. They're located in south Nashville.
https://www.kennedyperformancecenter.com/ They're really good people there and the hourly rates are very reasonable compared to others. I purchased the crank hub parts myself (at their recommendation) and had them do the install, plus installing charge pipes, filters, spark plugs and I believe my total in labor was ~3k.
