Front I did half so 15mm and the rear is 20mm(the 5 higher). Isn’t aggressive at all which is what I wanted. Waiting for it to settle some more before deciding to drop more or not. The ride home felt amazing.
Will update once I put more miles on it.
How are they treating you so far?

I thought these were supposed to be easy to adjust.
Do all HaS kits require rear control arm to be lowered to adjust height?

Does the kit come with shorter bump stops?

I thought so too. Reached out to MSS and they stated you have to drop the control arm but can try doing it without dropping it but will be very difficult.

Really only got this to lower the front to the perfect height for my usage. Didn’t want to change the ride negatively or have any issues. So far super pleased and am swapping to my summer setup today and will lower the front approx 3mm to have a total drop up front be 18mm and rears 10mm.

All good with the swap and lowered to 18 mm front and 10mm rears
Wheel and tire spec
Front 19x9.5 et 20. RE11 265.35.19
Rear 19x 11 et 40. Mp4s 305.30.19

No rubbing or noises. Will post pics soon.

Curious about this. Are the standard Billy EDC dampers not suited to the MSS springs? I recall you loved them with the stock springs. While I am a suspension freak myself and understand the desire to custom valve, etc., I would love to hear your feedback on this combo:

- MSS springs
- Billy EDC dampers (unmodified)

This combo has the potential to be the ultimate street setup, without the overly aggressive nature of typical coil-over kits.

You can adjust the rear without dropping the control arm with the MP HAS kit. It's weird that MSS recommends dropping the control arm when it's supposed to be easier than other HAS kits.

Anyone care to post an update now that some time has gone by? Curious to hear how people are liking the kit.

Honestly... love it . Height is perfect and ride is amazing. Wish this kit came out a year sooner and I bought this then.

Imran,

Have been following you for a while and wanted to ask you if you guys tested the track adjustable ride system ?

You have said that the drop is up to 3mm on the sport system, what about the track system, can you give us some numbers on those as well?

Will they also be compatible with B6 that you guys are developing ?

@RoadRunner///M
What made you get these over the KW or MP HAS kits?

Anyone make the switch from MP HAS to MSS? Interested to hear from someone who has experience with both. Install, adjustment, and ride. Try to decide between the two

The standard B6 dampers do not work with the MSS adjusters at the bottom. We have the old style adjusters at the top. B6 are also really designed to work with stock ride height. Although the combination works great on our car I want to make the shock shorter in length so that it is designed to work with lowering springs and also increase the range of the Comfort and Sport Plus settings.

We have been delayed with CV19 at the moment as Bilstein Germany closed their factory and the UK development office is not back up to full working capacity.

Can someone please advise me if i install the rubber caps from the OE springs both bottom and top on the rear set of MSS springs? OE rubber caps circled in blue on photo.

I have been advised by a couple of people to transfer those parts over and use them, but watching some of the videos from Evolve they are not using them...??? Confused!!!

Email MSS if you want to be sure: david.coker@mss.company
That's really strange they'd make their springs flat ground if they wanted them to work with the OE rubber end pieces meant for non-flat ground springs.

The car feels noticeably improved. Much tighter & firmer suspension than OE, but not harsher. It just feels more planted and traction DSC intervenes much later now. The grip in corners is a big improvement and the car has less roll and remains flatter. It tracks very true.

In summary the pros & cons:
cons:
- The MSS instructions are total shite. No detail on how the parts assemble together.
- referenced a rear rubber mat which wasn't in my kit which apparently isn't required.
- cant adjust rear post install without dropping the lower control arm again.
- the adjustors had insufficient grease on the threads from assembly and there was movement. I had to re-grease these with high temp grease.
- Evolve support is practically non-existent post sale
pros:
- ride is as advertised.
- front is easy to adjust post install.
- MSS support via email is fast, although also lacks detail.

Once sorted out the height, will wheel align & possibly corner balance it. I will also do the re-calibration of EDC via ISTA due to change in ride height.

Early days, but happy with MSS kit so far. I will likely take another 5mm lower on the front.
Did you adjust edc via ISTA and if so what was the result?

Re-calibrate EDC? Thought it self calibrates via ride height sensors....
