Rear height collar removal.

For those of you who have removed the rear limiting collars, did you have to drill out the pins or can you just punch them out? How low has anyone gone without running out of bump travel?

There is blind set screw holding each one in place, most aftermarket set up have a hex key fitting to allow it to be loosened, even tho BMW wants it to be adjustable, perhaps for the American market they made it more challanging. I used a dremal to create a groove so that I could use a flat head screwdriver to loosen the set screw. It had been a while since I had done this so my thoughts are foggy, but I just lowered it to the end of the threads.

Advice was perfect. Put a slot in the screw and went to max low. The car still isn't really that low but I'm on a 295/35/18. I imagine the stock wheel/tire would be pretty in the wheel well.
