Does the new NSX interest you? I am just not that into the design and interior looks. What made the first NSX so great was its perfect 6-MT. The dual clutch on this generation has no chance of being that much fun.

Who will buy this car when it comes out? The GTR crowd maybe?

The wife caught me a few days ago building a 911 GTS on the website and she laughed. If form holds I'll still be driving the M in 8-10 years. At which point I'll have at least one in college so the M may become a 15 year car for me. We will have replaced her vehicle, likely, three times in those years (she really packs on the miles between all the kids events) so that sorta scratches my new car itch as I'm the families weekend driver. Her current MDX is so solid I'm really debating just getting her another one in a year or so but I know I'll probably try to push her into a Cayenne or X5

I sold my F80 for my GT4.

Next plan is to add the Macan GTS and trade the GT4 for, 911R, GT3/RS manual, or if GT4RS ever happens.

I told myself I'm keeping the m4 until I'm ready to upgrade to either an Audi R8 V10, A.M. vantage V12 or 991 gt3.. But having scratched the Porsche itch with the 997 turbo I'm leaning towards the R8, they have pretty solid lease rates as well!

Really funny because I've been looking for a 997.1 and 997.2 turbo for about 2 weeks now.

I think its near bottom, and it can only go up in value.

Really the R8 has good lease rates? I thought Audi had really crappy lease rates.

I've seen some online as low as 2200 a month with 10k/year for the v10. When you compare that to the Huracán it's a no brainer. But I guess it's all relative to what you're looking for and what you consider a 'good rate.' I always thought the v10 would hold more of a premium than that, but then again you can get them under 100k used now.

2200/ month sounds about right... Porsche's at that price point leasing that much too. That's insane lease rate. I would buy at that rate.

GT3 yes, because it appreciates in value. R8's not so much, so if you are like me and get bored of cars quickly then it may make more sense to lease, even at that price point. Like I said it's all relative to the individual and what makes more sense to them.

Depending on what happens in the next 12-18 months of my life, I'm looking at:

1) CPO 991.1 C2S
2) CPO Cayman S/GTS
3) R8 V8 manual (slower and older but gated shifter and can be daily driven)
4) 14+ GT-R
5) Alfa Guilia
6) M2
7) Another f8x
8) Another e9x m3

I don't need rear seats/doors but they are nice to have at times.

I think you have a solid list. M2 is questionable

Do you think you could go back to an E92 from the F8x?

Ive been debating it lol

There ya go. Although the M3 has everything I want for the foreseeable future, I often get tempted by interiors/tech in newer cars, i.e. the Gxx range from BMW. X3M should scratch all those itches. I guess I still have ~3 years with the F80 to see if I end up getting bored with it. One thing is for sure, the F80 looks are a keeper, more so than any other "new" car I've bought.

Yea M2 is turning out to be a little bit of a let down, IMO.

I'm not sure lol I'm thinking of a scenario of where I had to find a cheaper car for my next car so I was comparing a new M2 vs a low-mileage 12/13 e92 M3. I think I'd get back in an M3 before the M2. The e9x was my first M car so I have a soft spot for them lol.
