Installed Pole Positions.. What to do about OEM seatbelt?

I'm using PCI rails and sliders, theyre very similar to the Macht Snell ones.

My question is for you guys retaining the OEM 3 belt harness.
Where'd you mount the actual seat belt?
What seat beat buckle did you buy because I left the OEM receptacle on the OEM seat.

Have you got the ABE or FIA version? I sincerely hope you've the ABE version that's actually road legal and features a bigger opening for the seat buckle to go through - the GTS uses exactly that, though also does have a slightly modified side bolster with a cut-out, allowing the seat buckle to aim more vertically.

As for the seat mount, I've done some research as I'm toying with the idea of getting Pole Positions and found some very nice OEM solutions here in Germany that incorporate OE seat receptacles and mounting hardware.

https://burkhart-engineering.com/sho...-f8x-m2-m3-m4/

https://55parts.de/collections/m-mod...-seitenadapter

The seat mounts of the Voss unit in the first link are basically a 1:1 M4 GTS replica, but both solutions linked above use OE manual seat sliders incl. their seat receptacles. That way, all you're changing out are just the seat mounts and re-using OE BMW hardware. Can get manual seat sliders on eBay. Unsure if the car's systems would throw fewer errors with OE seat buckles connected (and just running a seat without side airbags), though.

Stateside, I think only Brey Krause offer a more OEM-like solution. Better than the various universal aftermarket mounts.

Attached is M4 GTS seat mount. The slider looks like any other BMW AG F3x slider, but it does have its own unique part number, for some reason.

I actually have the FIA version of the Pole Position. And I would've definitely gone with the BK Auto seat mounts if I had known about it. I had already purchased the PCI sliders/rails so I'm just trying to make it work at this point.

I'm on OEM rails and transferred the OEM buckle over and used the BK lap belt kit to mount the belt.

Have you got a few pics of them in the F80? How's the seating position and comfort on longer journeys?

It's about an hour drive for me to the track and the seats are pretty comfortable for that journey. The seat height on the OEM sliders is perfect for me being 5'10''. If it was my daily, I would need to make the back sit a bit more upright.
