Just over 2.5 years old & just under 19K miles

Just over two & a half year old & almost 19k miles, my M4 Comp has been back in to Clark Aitken Car Detaining for a “spa” treatment.
One small bit of paint protection film was replaced & the Gyeon paint protection was updated. The PPF has definitely stopped a few chips on the bonnet & else where. It’s doing it’s job
Winter wheels & tyres are on just now.
What an amazing job Clark does.

Saw this on his IG page earlier, so glad I’ve done so much PPF on mine now!

Genuine question for the PPF guys, do you genuinely see you keeping the car forever? If so I totally understand. If not, who are you preserving it for?

If it’s a 4 year deal and get something else I cannot see the sense in the outlay....

For me, it's just an extra layer of protection. Sure it's not cheap. My car isn't garaged so I'm happy to know it's got that layer. Perhaps more importantly it helps to protect against stone chips so I don't need to touch up paint or get a panel re-sprayed. There no shortage of loose stones in Aberdeenshire.

Same in Dumfriesshire, roads are bloomin terrible.

I haven’t PPF’d my M4CS and in a way I wish I had, but I can see me keeping it after the balloon is due. It’s got a handful of chips on the bonnet/front end now

How much roughly is a PPF treatment?

I had mine done from new and paid 1700 for what they called the track pack. Front bonnet, wings bumper, A Pillars, Half roof, side scirts, rear bumber and mirror caps.
100% worth it in my opinion.
