What Aspect of your F8x Still Makes you Smile

- The Azurite Black paint in the sunlight showing the blue and sometimes purple highlights.
- The ZCP seats
- The view from the rear

Have only had it in my driveway for 4 days, but for me, it's the stereo.. Suffered with tinnitus in both ears for decade plus, and this stereo can be tuned to make music sound like "I know" its supposed to sound. Those of you with hearing aids, know they make everything sound like a loud am radio. Then add in the fact I have a Vegas casino binging away in my head, every second, of every day, and it makes me smile for sure.

Interior is nice, gauge cluster could use some work, imo. I like analog, just plain on the script etc.

Power is down, but comparing it to my C6s with 4th and tune etc.. So sound on this is also a disappointment in comparison, nothing sounds like that 6.2 opened up..

That being said, I knew this going into it, but looking for a comfy long hauler, and thinking this will fit the bill nicely!

Oh, and the orange.. it's the fastest colour :-)

* Great daily in terms of interior comfort & ride/handling balance (i have adaptive suspension and 513s)
* Dual cruiser/racer capability and personality.
* Good looking exterior & love the SO interior
* Seating position and headroom
* S55 combination of torque, throttle response, high rpm power, and robust internals (closed deck, etc.)
* Engineering efforts to reduce weight; the car does feel relatively light on its feet.

Now if I can just fix the sound and improve the steering....

- The tight and sexy lines across the side of the body

- The red (SO) interior that, I've been told, looks like a tongue with the top down

- The way the car and I feel when I suddenly decide to weave through traffic and not have any car directly in front of me

- That I can have a decent conversation with the top down at slightly above the speed limit on the freeway

- That I look at the atrocious mpg on my idrive and chuckle

Rowing through the gears in Sport+! I have an AA equal length midpipe + VSC valve controller. The exhaust pops per shift are glorious!!

The side view profile and the view from the back. Sitting in the conforming seats and hitting the gas in 3rd gear. All good things.

Upgrade to BAVSOUND speakers, which are plug and play with our cars. Big improvement. The magnet is literally 3x the size for the mids and subs.

not even 24 hours into ownership and.....

The aggressive curves, and the start-up.

Both new territory to me from previous cars.

Just kidding... Getting pressed into the seat when I stomp on the go pedal is a feeling that's never going to get old.
