Im going off personal experience. Stage 2 tune and so far good. Going to be running e85 tune soon and no plans on changing pipes. I guess its one of those things that if they fail worst case scenario il be hitchhiking. Wont be any further damage if it happens.

Do you know what boost PSI you peak at? I hesitate to consider EV CPs because I plan to hit 35PSI. Currently using VTT tubes, but they take some tweaking to fit well (as expected).

I'm running VF Engineering stage 2 which I think is 25PSI? Anyway, it's lower than 35 for sure.

Need to double check that though, sure it's mentioned in their hex tuning thread.

No stock charge pipe failures here on 2 M4’s and M3 all on stage 2 tunes. Not sure what you have a better chance of, a SCH or cracked charge pipe. Both have been far and few!!!

I don't know what they are rated at but I have not encountered a single failure yet and we have used them on some crazy builds

What about the SSR pipes? They don't make a J pipe but I was quite interested in them.

I recently done the same thing went with Mishimoto Chargepipes superbly built and I think they're the best bang for your buck. As for the J Pipe I went with VRSF and sadly ever since I installed it it's been nothing but headache for me I've had figment issues as well as one of the bungs falling out so I've had a boost leak for a while now due to it. The shop I went to recommend CTS turbo so for J Pipe I'd recommend them or Evolution Raceworks

With that said— from previous posts, it seems like all chargepipes are more or less the same. I'm not trying to get carbon fiber or any fancy colors.

I think i've seen slight variations for meth bungs. I MIGHT consider running meth in the future, but i'm not sure yet.

Which brand did you go with?

I noticed the VRSF cold side and hot side are comparably in price to the BMS cold side and hot side pipes. Which is better? Are there any differences at all?

Are there other brands that everyone buys?

Can you give more detail on the "tweaks" you had to do (or PM me)?
Have a set of VTT silicone CPs inbound from X-PH and hopefully installing one of the next few weekends.

I have a set of Injen aluminum pipes installed now, which have worked exactly as I would want for the last few years. Decided to give the silicone option a try now that ambient temps will start creeping up.
