OLED Tail Lights for F80 M3

There are 3 sets of wires. I only need 1. I thought if I cut the other big plug then it wouldn't get in the way. You can't push the wires below the light. You have to put the wires wear my finger is pointing. That is the only way to install it.(sorry for the pic, only the tip of my finger is showing)

You actually need two sets of wires. The smaller connector and one of the larger ones.

You should be able to shove the large connector below the light into the bumper cavity or there is some space behind the light/directly under. There should be another harness in the box that connects to the small connector. Feed that thru the hole.

Supposed to connect to the trunk light harness.

My V1s still haven't shipped! Supplier told me some quality control issues and apparently a new batch will be ready to ship this weekend

I'm happy with the GTS like LEDs (FOLEDs). They look good! Attaching before and after photos.

Did you end up connecting it? I haven't on mine as it was working as intended so I didn't see a need for it.

I went to go see Tom like 2 weekends ago. He said it's just how it's made. After he fiddled with it for a bit, he said they won't fit any better than how I had it.

I figure some foam lining/ weather strip adhesive tape to “seal” up the gaps between lights and trunk should work nicely to reduce the eyesore gaps.

Yeah anything from 2-3ft or further it looks fine. It's when you get up close that you start seeing the horrible fitment. I have close up pics of the fitment a few pages back in this thread.

Saw EFF80M3 on the freeway today

. Lights look great from far away but ok up close (you can see the black ring around each led). I'll wait for Solas tail lights these are still great looking lights though and wil probably be half the price of the Solas.
