Experience with ML performance?

Hello fellow, friends and family in the Bmw community. I just ordered something from ML performance and wanted to know what your experience was? Any negative or positive feedback that I can work off of? I know they are a UK-based company I am ordering something for the US, any experience with delivery times?

Incredibly positive. They are 1000% legit. Items arrive quickly and as pictured/described. I got an intercooler cover, rear spoiler, tow strap, and muffler tips from them over the past year. They use DHL to deliver - I wasn't familiar with DHL before purchasing stuff from ML but I really like them because they give almost daily updates on the status. To give an example of the delivery speed… I ordered the tow strap (ML from the UK) and tow hook cover (iND from the US) within 10 minutes of each other but the tow strap still arrived a day earlier that the cover.

OK! Very comforting to hear. I really appreciate your videos attached as well so I can get some insight as to how the parts showed up, really appreciate your help my friend. Cheers.

I just ordered from them earlier this year. They are Legit!

Great products/pricing and prompt delivery. Although, their shipping charges are
slightly on the higher end so, I ended up buying some items directly from one of
their vendors (Basic Carbon UK), because of this.

And, for me, communication was so/so because of the time difference and...
basic English.

cmcintosh339 did you end up making a purchase from them in the US? I'm looking at AC Schnitzer parts they have heavily discounted but I couldn't find them as an authorized dealer and came across your post.

They are totally fine and based in Surrey UK - bought some parts and also returned one and no hassel or issues really. Also they will beat or match price if found somewhere cheaper.

I did and can confirm that everything came high quality! Only issue is you pay a lot on import tax and shipping fees as well as have to wait a good amount of time for parts, but you do still save money.. just not as much as you think.

My experience with ML performance has been different. 6 days ago I placed an order for an MHD universal adapter. I have received no tracking number, no response to the two follow up emails I’ve sent, nor a call back for the 12 phone calls and 2 voicemails I left requesting an update. They are AWOL, which is frustrating because credit card disputes are not exactly fun.

While they are legit, they are terrible at expectations management and communication. They often say things are in stock when they are not, in itself not a problem, as long as they communicate, which they don’t seem to be able to do very well.

They are ok bought a few parts from them and also returned a part without much hassle but you can get better pricing from BMW direct in most cases.

I dont recommend anyone purchase from ML. I purchased mosselman turbos they were on back order. ML told me 1-2 weeks, then 3-4 weeks, then 6-8 weeks then unknown lead time. They refused to give a refund. Had to have PayPal step in to give me a refund. ML never followed up and would reply to emails days later. I don't recommend them to anyone.

I've also been waiting for Mosselman turbos for 4 months now. Ordered around the same time as you from a different website. Only update I got was a month and half ago about there being a delay from backlogged orders.

Same boat. Very frustrating. However I just dm Mosselman on IG and they shared that their shipments of s55 turbos just went to the uk this week. So ML should be fulfilling soon. We'll see.
