I was heavily dissuaded by the front grille and the larger size. And that there was some buggyness of the first model year from my prior experience.

I came out of a 2016 M3 (built in 2015) and went for the 2019 M4 CS and absolutely love it. It seems like a very different car and much sharper and connected. I liked the subtle unique styling bits and the rawness of it as well. My M3 didn't have the executive package (or comp as it wasn't available yet), so I actually gained some of the bells and whistles and don't really miss the creature comforts. Not having storage is a bit nice as it creates less clutter. There are some minor quirks, but overall I feel like it's been a big upgrade.

I personally felt the F8x would hold its place as an iconic car with a timeless design and having a "special" version of it would be cool. I love the look and feel of it all around over the G8x and have no regrets! Good luck and looking forward to seeing your outcome.
This was well written and sums up my feels exactly. I need a few more months with the car. But. My sentiments are the same !!

I had a hard time not trading in my 2019 for the red CS the dealer had in the showroom a few years back. They're super hot in red. Beautiful car.

MR looks phenomenal on the CS. I remember seeing a picture when the color was first released and, at first, I thought it was IR again but then there was a close-up shot…realized it was MR!! Don’t get me wrong, I love IR (Had an e46 M3 in IR/IR) but BMW had just used it on the heritage edition. Hands down, MR is the best CS color!

i agree with the phenomenal-ness of the g82 , the potential power gains, and tech -- but in all honesty if its not the x drive, is it really worth it?

the tech reminds me of the wife's GLE hek it feels almost as big

The next thing I'm going to do is ppf wrap the whole thing ,
i was thinking about getting the MP Exhaust -- but , i think it sounds lovely in its current state in sport mode

I honestly think I was cross shopping your M4 CS. I was looking at a nation wide search and was debating on a red with CCB and a white with standard brakes. Glad it found a good home.

Spoken like a true local...
If you fancy getting your car thrashed by POS corollas going 110 mph with a spare tire on and their bumpers falling off, you take I-95.
