Help with JB4 install in Calgary

Any member(s) in Calgary that can help with JB4? I had a shop install it but now with dp and intake on map 2 it feels slower than map 1. Want to see if someone can check it over to ensure everything is hooked up correctly. It feels like something is not right.

Do you have JB4 logs? That will tell you what's happening.

Map 2 dies for me after 5500rpm. It makes more power than Map 1 at lower RPMs and Map 1 makes more power after 5500 rpm. I have been on multiple dynos showing the same behavior.

Might have to do with fueling and our elevation.

Daniel ran some logs for me. Map 2 feels weaker than map 1. I am actually trying map 5 and it feels better for sure. I think you are right elevation plays a big part.

Do you have the logs? Post them if you have them. The thing to look out for is your fuel trims. If they are way up and you are using good fuel, then your fuel pressure plug may not be hooked up.

I think due to our elevation the stock turbos can't keep up. I was on a dyno last Friday with another M3 that has a flash tune and after 5500 rpm power drops off (worse than stock) for him too. I'll post the results up shortly. Due to this I find myself short shifting the car when I'm on the track. Pure turbo upgrades may be in our future

1st on is map 0, 2nd is map 2. No idea what any of it means. I have the excel files as well. Not sure how to load onto here. Can I email to you?

I've circled 2 points of concern on your JB4 logs. Can you post the Pro View version of the same log? Just load those excel files you have into the JB4 software and select the Pro View. It will show other parameters like trims.

The 2 circled points show boost dropping substantially and the car starting to lean out. What kind of fuel are you running in the car?

For comparison, here's my JB4 log from a Map 2 dyno run at our altitude:

I am shocked that you guys are boosting 25 psi on map 2. Then again your altitude probably plays a huge role. I am running 21psi on map 2 and the car roasts tires when I pin it at 3000rpm in 3rd.
