im looking into clek as well (fllo or foonf) but was wondering how high the seats are as the they seem a bit taller which may compromise rear visibility.

I've tried a number of car seats and boosters combinations to be able to fit 3 wide across the back. Some 3-point harness seats are too bulky (too wide and/or a bit too tall). I ended up with a Graco Wayz 3-in-1 for the middle and 2 Bubble Bums with seatbelt extenders (not the stiff version) on both sides.
This Evenflow looked good but way too wide and tall. I found that this Graco fit much better and allowed more space for the window seats. It's installed using the center seat belt with top anchor/latch only. If you read the car seat manual, once you kid is over ~40ish pounds, you shouldn't use the two bottom anchor latches. With any car seat in the center, the seat belt buckle is obstructed so you'll need seat belt extenders. Not pictured are the installed Bubble Bums and 9"-10" seat belt extenders fit perfectly. |

Isn't the height of the seat determined by the height of your child? In which case, most car seats will be about the same height regardless of brand no? I've had too many car seats... can't really keep track any more. I'm just glad I'm finally moving one of the kiddos to a booster. |

Not all car seats have the same booster height. Some sit higher. Most do have adjustable back rest as your kid grows.

The Recaro ProRide and Performance seem to be discontinued and recalled for safety reasons. Any other recommendations for rear facing car seats that will fit in an f80?

To all the dads (or moms) out there... does anyone with a F80 have the doona car seat? Completely new to this adulting thing, and the doona seems like a great option for the shorter trips without having to carry a full size stroller around.

I have this carseat protector, being used with a Diono car seat. But the car seat is pretty tall, and its hitting the rear headrests. I'm worried they may get damaged, have you guys found anything that protects the seat and headrests?
Additionally, have you found anything to put on the front to prevent toddlers from kicking and scuffing against the front seat when they are front facing? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 |

I know this thread isn't super active, but I thought I'd add a photo of the seat I purchased for my toddler to ride in my M3.
I went with the Wayb Pico. It's an aluminum frame forward facing seat that folds up into a small backpack when not in use. Perfect for my purposes, as the m3 is not the primary vehicle that the kids ride in and I don't want car seats taking up all of the back seat room. When not in use, I just fold it up and toss it in the trunk. I also like that it sits very low, so my kid's feet are at a lower level where there is more space between the front and rear seats for their feet and hopefully less kicking of the front seat! This picture is just of a test fit and I have a seat protector that perfectly covers all contact points and fold up into the Pico's storage bag. |
