Under what circumstances BMW replace your car?

As for today, my M4 is 2 months old with less than 2000kms on the clock. My car started showing CEL with no messages from the on-board computer after only 150kms. However, when they plug their toys the logs show a faulty code but im not sure what is it "sorry im not a mechanical savvy" the dealer kept changing my Delete R for 5 times but the problem remains, then BMW ruled out the problem to be not from akrapovic but from a BMW part. My SA told me that they replaced something called "low tempareture coolant pump" which I dont have any clue what that is.
Long story short, my car has entered the dealership for around 5 times since i bought it and BMW doesnt know whats wrong yet.
Can I ask for a new car already?

No. They tend to abide by local/state/national laws typically if it involves completely replacing a vehicle.

Thanks for the info. Will have to do some research on local laws regarding the matter before asking my dealer for that.

This. Car companies have warranties obviously and will repair according to the warranties. But many countries also have "Lemon Laws" that limit how many times a car can be in for repairs before the company is obliged to just give you a new one. Need to uncover those laws (if any) for your area.

Which dealer you're taking your car to? I'm just interested to avoid going there in future.

Your car is perfectly fine, the check engine is coming from downpipe. After updating the ECU to the last software from BMW, the delete R stopped working for some reason. I was in your position but my dealer was smart enough to figure it out from first time.

Now I have jb4 and I never looked back

Edited: my dealership is in AD/Al Ain

My dealer, Abu Dhabi Motors, figured that after 3 months when the problem started.

I agree, BMW consumer protection is the way to go in this case.
