iDrive maps constant updating

Hi folks,

My 2017 f82 iDrive started updating maps OTA 2 weeks ago. Since then it initiates an update approximately twice a day. These don't last long but is annoying. I'm not sure whether these are additional incremental updates or the software has somehow gotten stuck in a loop. Anyone else encountered this and/or have any solutions to share ?

Mine keeps doing this as well.

Hello,

You could always download the maps and drag and drop them to a flash drive and force the update to update via USB versus OTA.

Will take about 30 minutes versus 2 weeks
