Got this off amazon, 100% plug and play and fits into the OEM trim piece and boom, let there be light! Pros are the orange matches 100% with the "classic" (orange) LEDs. Its also pretty bright and can be dimmed via the idrive. Fitment is OEM and plug and play. Cons are, there is no white led built in for "sport" mode. The 3 pin connector has 1 wire missing, which im assuming could have been used for a white LED.

For $16 and 5 mins of labor, can't complain. Anything to spice up the interior of these cars is a plus.

Great find! I ordered and installed. It looks great. My only concern is the light is rather hot. Is it suppose to give off heat?

Let me check mine tomorrow. it's a LED so it shouldn't give off much heat or be hot to the touch.

I just double checked mine again. I used a laser thermometer to check the temp. It was 62F off based on my gargage temp but after I left the light on for 5 minutes, it went to 69F. I just disconnected the light for now as I thought an LED shouldn't heat up that much if any.

Well it looks like the OLED tail lights from alibaba have finally made its way over to Amazon. Just waiting for them to be prime eligible before snatching a set up :-).

Spec-M on eBay is pretty study at high speeds. All that I used to install were self tapping screws and double sided tape. Pretty good fit too.

Do they come with any guides for tapping or do we have to measure out ourselves? How's the fitment?

Yea, it fits pretty good. Hole are predrilled and obvious as to where they go. No guessing as there are indentations.

Thanks! Looks like a well-priced option as well considering how streets are out here. I literally hit a block of wood earlier this week on a dark on-ramp smh

Sorry for the late response. I couldnt find my laser thermometer but by feel the LED did not feel hot at all. I had taken the LED out to apply some tint (light smoke) and left it on for a few mins to see if it heats up but it did not. Wonder if yours has a short somewhere...

On another note, after the light tint (used vvivid's light smoke meant for headlights/taillights), the brightness is perfect/not overpowering and matches the OEM (set to 100%).

Is the tint you used similar to this VViViD Air-Tint Headlight/Tail Light Window Tint (12" x 48", Smoke Black) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07X4JBHMB/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_XBo5FbR0T1YCC?

I just put in the new bulb and it’s a very bright orange! Also picked up a CF radio faceplate with LED lighting from Amazon to complete the updated lighting.

Just purchased this "Glossy Black CS style front lip" https://www.ebay.com/itm/Glossy-Blac...53.m1438.l2649

Looks like a few have been sold with one commenting it has good fitment. Giving it a shot to replace my OEM M performance lip that has faded terribly. If it isint up to par i'll be painting the bottom portion of the M performance lip.

Installed the Amazon / JC Sportline MPerf Rep diffuser.

While the fit and finish is actually quite good, I cannot get the upper, outer clips to "snap" in. All lines up perfectly, just seems they are not large enough to catch.

The weave isnt that great. Would you buy it again now that you know what you would get?

The OEM one is ~$350.

I think it’s the angle I took the pic and the bump at the bottom end that sits on the bottom of the steering wheel that makes the weave look like crap on the bottom there- you can see the same thing on the OEM one in pics too. It looks fine IRL.

Thanks, yea it could be the angle and i know what you mean about the bump on the bottom. This is a pic i found on ebay of the OEM trim piece. the weave looks more uniform all across the piece. How would you compare? I was initially gonna go with a replica but im leaning more towards OEM now because its a piece thats sits right in your face all the time.

I’ll be taking it off probably over the weekend as I have a new steering wheel coming in this week- I’ll take some more pics when I have that and post here
