I just tried to vo coded my friends 2017 M3 to delete the EDC since he just installed KW V3.

I removed the 2VF from the FA , I calculated the FP to make sure there were no errors and then wrote it to the car.

I VO coded:

DSC
ICM
Kombi
HU_NBT2

And pulled the edc plug as I'm supposed to do.

I received the following warnings when starting the car back up:

Airbag
DSC
Chassis
Headlight
Frontal collision
Tpms
Rear diff lock

I tried to clear with the transmitter and they didn't go away.

I then put 2VF back in the FA and then vo coded the same modules back and all the warnings went away as if I never touched anything.

We're just receiving the chassis stabilization one for the EDC not being there.

Any help?

You need to unplug the unit in the trunk after coding. See this thread:

I pulled the plug in the back. The long one which is the second module in the back. That was done before I started the car up. I called it the edc plug in my post.

When deleting 2VF in Competition Car you need to delete also 7ME and 7MN from FA. Of course EDC module has to be unplugged.
Hope that helps. In case of issues feel free to contact me.
