depends on what you mean by good resale value and what you are comparing it to.
is it going to hold value as well as an individual e46, e92 limerock, c63 507 edition ? probably not. |

Most desirable bmw cars loose value the first couple of years, then they creep up in price and become fan favorites. Good examples are E36 m3 LTW, e9x m3, e39 m5, and the 1M. I believe f80 and f82 CS will go down from here but at some point it will bottom and start to rise. Either way, don’t buy it just to hold it waiting for its price to hold or go up. Since if you do this, you will not enjoy the car.
