M5, CCB and the M2C calipers are the same just different colours. The front rotors with M2C kit are 400 x 36mm same size as the CCB rotors.

M5 blue calipers bracket mounts are ~5mm shallower than the M2C/F8x CCB calipers. OEM 380mm rotors will not fit in any of these OEM calipers.

Did anyone saw them cheaper than above? 4500$ is a great price, I guess that's without pads?

I think the CCB calipers have titanium pistons and other two SS pistons.

For those who did the retrofit from nonCCB, did you guys replace the dust shields or just cut it? If you replace the dust shield , on the rear do you need to remove the wheel bearing?

Any idea exactly what is included in this kit? Will it work with the M4 ZCP? Will it clear 18" Apex EC-7 wheels?

I have to fit these in 18" wheels, so I would be wasting money on the large rotors? Do the calipers work with the stock rotors? I would just need pads and calipers?

This conversion does not work with 18" wheels.

OzcarM3 seems to have pulled it off?

The tire in his post looks to be an 18" and he has the six piston calipers installed.

You need to read from first page of thread... that 18" conversion has F10 M5 calipers, custom brackets and custom rotors. This thread is for M2C OEM brakes on the F8x, which will not fit 18" wheels.

I have read entirely through this several times and it's honestly confusing to me, sorry!

Is there a way to upgrade to six piston front or four piston rear that will work with 18" wheels?

Answering my own question. Lol
Just completed the retrofit.
No need to replace the rear dust shield. And no need to cut the stock dust shield. The 4P M2C rear caliper fits fine on the stock dust shield.

Does anyone know how much more these weigh than the stock brakes? This is significantly less expensive than a F/R BBK, but trying to understand from those who have experience with both if the gain is worth doing this conversion vs just staying stock?

I was also looking into the weight penalty of these, but couldn't find anything.

I don't think this retrofit is worth it. Just too heavy IMO, too much unsprung weight. Further, it forces the use of 19" track tires, which increases running cost. I am still OK with the base iron setup, but if I were to upgrade, I would go for a BBK that reduces unsprung weight and still allows for 18" wheels. Well worth the extra cost IMO.

I may have a pair of M5 Brembo 6 Piston calipers, ERGAL custom brackets for the M2/3/4 ,HEL braided hoses for sale.
They are spoken for but if the sale falls they will be available again
They also come with new bolts for the calipers and brackets.
Hoses and brackets are new, calipers only had one set of pads on them.
Can send pictures by WhatsApp.
Will require M2 Competition brake discs
SOLD
